Joseph J. Tinney, Jr.
President, ARAMARK Business & Industry Group, Facility Services
Joseph Tinney is President, ARAMARK Facility Services, Business & Industry Group. In this role, Mr. Tinney is responsible for all North American Facility Services in the business-to-business market as well as North American Logistic Services, North American Remote Workplace Services, and ARAMARK Mexico. In addition to strategic planning, risk mitigation, revenue, and profit growth, he is responsible for operations, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement in each of these four sectors. Mr. Tinney joined ARAMARK in spring 2004 as Vice President and General Manager in the company’s Business & Industry division. He was promoted to an Executive Vice President role in that division in spring 2005 and to President of that line of business in mid-2010. As President, Mr. Tinney continues leading the Facility Services organization in concert with the strength of ARAMARK’s market-focused, comprehensive portfolio to drive growth and value for its stakeholders.
Prior to ARAMARK, Mr. Tinney worked for UNICCO Services Company in a series of roles, most notably as Corporate Vice President of Business Development, then as General Manager and Vice President for the company’s Industrial Division. He also worked at Ogden Corporation in positions of increasing responsibility and ultimately as National Sales Director of Ogden’s Industrial Division, which provided facility services to the manufacturing market.
Mr. Tinney earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the College of New Jersey (formerly Trenton State College).
Roger Peterson
Senior Vice President, Facility Services
Roger Peterson is the Senior Vice President of Facility Services in the Business & Industry Group. He oversees the delivery of services to Business & Industry clients across North America with a team of more than 5,000 experts in a wide range of facilities and environments.
Mr. Peterson also participates in the development and execution of strategic initiatives for ARAMARK’s Business & Industry Group. Mr. Peterson is very actively involved in the facilities management profession, frequently speaking at industry events and currently serving as the Vice Chair and as a Trustee of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Foundation.
Before joining ARAMARK, Mr. Peterson served as a Vice President and Senior Consultant with Impact Management Services, where he provided industry insights to both facility owners and facilities service providers, typically focusing on optimizing the value gained from outsourced facilities management service relationships. Mr. Peterson also was employed by Johnson Controls’ facility management business, serving in several positions of increasing responsibility.
Mr. Peterson graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science degree and from Boston University with a Master of Science degree in Business Administration.
Paul Henry
Vice President, Integrated Client Solutions
Paul Henry is the Vice President of Integrated Client Solutions (ICS) for Facility Services in the Business & Industry Group. This team consists of subject matter experts from Operational Excellence, Client Solutions, the Performance Improvement Team, and Marketing. The ICS team is responsible for developing, promoting, and delivering customer-focused solutions that improve facilities performance, effectiveness, and efficiency. The ICS team applies process rigor to project management, process design, problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives that produce predictable, reliable, and sustainable results.
Before joining ARAMARK, Mr. Henry served as a Director of Operations at UNICCO, where he was responsible for delivering safety, quality, and reliability in their plant services account business. Prior to that, Mr. Henry worked at Johnson Controls (JCI) at Cape Canaveral managing maintenance support for both the NASA Space Shuttle and U.S. Air Force launch programs.
Mr. Henry graduated from the University of the State of New York with a Bachelor of Science degree and earned his Master of Business Administration from Florida Institute of Technology. He is also a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) through Villanova University and a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) through SMRP. Paul is a participating member in CORENET, IFMA, SMRP, USGBC, and ASQ.
Bill Carow
Vice President of Operations, Logistic Services
Bill Carow is the Vice President of Operations for the Logistic Services Division within the Business & Industry Group. He oversees the delivery of services to clients across North America with a team of more than 450 associates. Mr. Carow also participates in the development and execution of strategic initiatives for ARAMARK’s Business & Industry Group.
Bill joined ARAMARK in 1995 and has held a number of positions of increasing responsibilities. Most recently he served as Vice President of Compliance for the Business and Industry group where he was responsible for the development, deployment and oversight of regulatory compliance standards. During his tenure, his other positions included National Account Director and Vice President of Operations for ARAMARK Business Dining where he was recognized for providing creative solutions to improve operational efficiencies, cost containment and sales growth initiatives. In these roles he continuously partnered with client organizations to ensure operational alignment and key performance indicators were consistently achieved.
Bill earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Hospitality from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Osman Ismail
Regional Vice President, Remote Workplace Service
Osman Ismail is the Regional Vice President of ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services. In this role, Mr. Ismail is responsible for developing and leading the strategic growth of our Remote Workplace Services business, overseeing both our Remote Services team in Canada and the United States and the offshore operations in the United States.
Mr. Ismail brings 22 years of strategic business development, logistics, and risk management expertise to ARAMARK in this position, having served in professional leadership capacities with organizations such as Al Suwaidi Services, Andersen Consulting, and the Oberoi Hotels in the Middle East, Paris, and India.
Mr. Ismail earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Bombay University in India along with a Master’s degree in International Hospitality Management from Cornell Essec Hotel School in Paris. Mr. Ismail has also successfully completed the Executive Development Program at the Kellogg School of Management.
Karen McClendon
Vice President, Human Resources
Karen McClendon is the Vice President of Human Resources for ARAMARK Business & Industry Group, Facility Services. Partnering with executive leadership, Ms. McClendon oversees a 30-person team of HR professionals to develop and implement human capital initiatives that enable organizational effectiveness and contribute to growth and business goals.
Ms. McClendon joined ARAMARK in 2009 as Associate Vice President, Human Resources. She brings nearly two decades of senior HR experience, astute partnership abilities, change management skills, and organizational readiness expertise to the Business & Industry Facility Services segment of ARAMARK. She is recognized for providing effective solutions, delivering results, and generating support across all levels of the organization to achieve business objectives. Ms. McClendon’s depth of expertise includes business and HR strategy alignment, talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, employee engagement as well as compensation, benefits, and HR system experience.
Prior to ARAMARK, Ms. McClendon served as Director of Human Resources for Exelon Corporation and as Vice President of Human Resources for Zone Telecom, the Sesame Workshop, and Comcast Cellular Communications, Inc.
Ms. McClendon earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Temple University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
Curtis Bragg
Vice President, Strategic Integration
Curtis Bragg is the Vice President of Strategic Integration for ARAMARK Business & Industry Group, Facility Services. In this role, Mr. Bragg leads a cross functional team of experts in developing the business case for ARAMARK’s integrated business support services model that lead to strategic improvement of a Client’s performance, effectiveness, and efficiency.
Prior to joining ARAMARK in 2011, Mr. Bragg held a series of leadership roles most notably as President of Triangle Services, Division President of Omni Facility Services, President of MainTech, and Executive Vice President of Hire Quality. Mr. Bragg also worked for Johnson Controls as part of the Integrated Facility Management Team. Mr. Bragg began his career in the outsourced services industry with ServiceMaster Management Services as a Healthcare Facility Manager. While at ServiceMaster he held numerous operational and sales roles of increasing responsibility to become an Executive Vice President of the $2 Billion Managed Services Division. He has worked with clients in a variety of industry sectors including Aviation, Education, Transportation, Healthcare, Logistics, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Retail, Real Estate, Communications, Government, and Corporate market sectors.
Mr. Bragg frequently speaks at association and industry events on a diverse set of topics including Leadership, Strategic Planning, Facility Management Technology, and Organizational Effectiveness. Mr. Bragg graduated from the prestigious ServiceMaster Executive Development Program and holds a degree in Environmental Technology. He continues his professional development by attending the Wharton Business School and assorted industry events.
